| Dear UpyaChat users, May 25, 2026 Faced with skyrocketing input costs amid geopolitical tensions and the arrival of El Niño with its wave of extreme weather events, accelerating the adoption of agroecological practices is more urgent than ever. You shared your field feedback, your needs, and your ambitions to go further. You asked us for an assistant capable of understanding more than just a simple question. You wanted to be able to add your own documents, avoid repeating the same context over and over, create an account more easily, get better insights from field photos, and better support agricultural finance stakeholders. So, we did just that. UpyaChat is evolving. It is moving from a simple conversational assistant to a fully contextualized workspace, built to support you as close to agricultural realities as possible. Here is what’s new! |
Project Spaces: Turn your documents into a living workspace
You can now create Project Spaces within UpyaChat and upload the essential documents driving your day-to-day work: farm blueprints, crop calendars, field photos, soil analyses, technical reports, advisory notes, regulatory standards, and more.
Once uploaded, these documents can be used on-demand to provide instant context during your chats with UpyaChat.
Examples of what you can ask:
- “What does this soil analysis mean for my crop management plan?”
- “How should I adapt my recommendations based on this farm profile?”
- “What are the main risks visible in this field observation?”
- “Can you help me build advice that complies with this standard?”

Instead of starting from scratch with every single conversation, UpyaChat can now leverage the information you provide to deliver more contextualized, relevant, and actionable answers. You can easily switch conversations, update your context, or start a new project at any time.
And of course, your data remains completely secure and protected!

In accordance with our data protection policy, uploaded documents are strictly used to provide contextualized support within your workspace. They are not used to train models, and access to project data is governed by our strict privacy and security commitments.
Better image analysis through richer field context
On the ground, a photo is often the fastest way to explain a situation:
- A symptom on a plant
- The state of the soil
- A suspected pest infestation
- A crop development issue
- An agricultural practice that needs interpreting
UpyaChat can now leverage much more context when analyzing an image to deliver more relevant and actionable answers.
How it works
When you send a photo, UpyaChat combines the visual data with the details you provide—and, whenever you choose, with the documents already saved in your Project Space.
This significantly improves field diagnostics, phytosanitary observations, agronomic recommendations, and long-term monitoring.
In short: Better images, deeper context, more useful answers.
